Terms & Conditions
Thank you for partnering with PropertyLink. We value your association, business & feedback.
Any instructions received by PropertyLink from you, the customer, for the supply of goods
or services, will be considered as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
1. QUOTES
1.1 Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
1.2 Any variations to quoted work, that will incur further costs, may require that the
customer sign a variation agreement or provide confirmation via email before this work will
commence.
1.3 At PropertyLink’s discretion, a deposit may be required.
2. INVOICES & PAYMENTS
2.1 Payment is required on or before the due date as stated on your invoice.
2.2 Payment details – Account number: ASB Bank | 12-3476-0005492-00. Please use your
invoice number in the reference field.
2.3 Any overdue invoices will incur a 20% penalty per annum calculated on a daily basis,
compounding monthly.
2.4 Goods will remain the property of PropertyLink until the invoice amount has been paid
in full.
2.5 All collection costs associated with an overdue invoice will be added to the current
invoice, including any fees relating to use of debt collection agencies.
2.6 Payments made through credit cards will incur a surcharge.
3. SUB-CONTRACTORS
3.1 PropertyLink may engage reputable and competent sub-contractors to perform parts of
the work as agreed with the customer. The customer agrees to allow these sub-contractors
site access as required to complete the work. The customer agrees to pay PropertyLink for
the work completed by these subcontractors as invoiced by PropertyLink.
4. SUSPENSION OF WORKS
4.1 If invoices for deposits, or work already completed, are unpaid after their due date,
PropertyLink reserves the right to suspend further work until payment for overdue invoices
has been made in full.
5. WARRANTY
5.1 The team at PropertyLink take pride in our work and we hope that you are pleased with
our service. If you have any concerns about our work, these must be submitted to
PropertyLink within 30 days of completion of work. Any goods that are deemed faulty will
be replaced under the warranty of those goods provided. No claim shall be accepted under
such warranty if any attempt to repair the defective goods is made by any person not
authorised by PropertyLink, or if the defective goods have been modified or incorrectly
stored, maintained, or used.
5.2 This warranty does not extend to occurrences that would normally be covered under
usual householder insurance, professional indemnity, public liability insurance held by
PropertyLink or any other forms of insurance, unpaid contracts, disputes under the
Construction Contracts Act 2002 and any claims that have been already lodged with any
statutory bodies as these are already subject to legal process.
6. HEALTH & SAFETY
6.1 The customer agrees to abide by any onsite health & safety rules and recommendations
as set out by PropertyLink that relate to work being completed by PropertyLink or its sub-
contractors.
7. LIABILITY
7.1 PropertyLink shall not be liable to you for any indirect and/or consequential loss and/or
expense (including loss of profit) suffered by the customer arising out of a breach by
PropertyLink of these terms and conditions.
8. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
8.1 PropertyLink will endeavour to resolve any dispute between the customer and itself.
8.2 Where resolution cannot be found, an external un-prejudiced mediator will be
consulted.
9. GENERAL
9.1 Where more than one customer has entered into this agreement, the customers will be
jointly liable for all costs incurred.
9.2 PropertyLink reserves the right to review these terms and conditions at any time. Any
changes made to these terms and conditions will take effect from the date that PropertyLink
notifies the customer of these changes.
